A Prayer.

Do to us justly, Lord.
What I want is not for the rich to be damned.
Not for the selfish to weep.
Not for the liars, the lost, the angry,
the hardened, the gluttons, or the guilty to feel your wrath.

What I want is unity.
I want us to stand together
Agreeing at once how difficult it is,
and how thankful we are to be reigned by Grace.

Have mercy on us who don't know how to feel as you want us to.
Have mercy on us who don't know how to be as you would.
Do with us justly.
